[John's had a few days to settle in, enroll in school, and get bored. He's video posting in deference to the couple of people he's met who've been annoyed with the texting.]

Hey guys!

Uh, for those of you that haven't met me yet, I'm John Egbert. I've been here a few days now and I figure it's time to get started on climbing my echeladder again.

So, anyway, I heard about this weird dungeon that you can only explore during the dark hour. Anyone want to come with me to check it out?

Friend... They want to be friends, anyway. There are two of them. One is very energetic and always claims to be on top form. The other is quieter, but notices things in everything that make her smile.

They sound pretty cool. Maybe I'll get to meet them someday.

Maybe. If they come here.

Great! And if my friends ever show up, I'll introduce you to them.

Your friends. What are they like?

They're awesome! Jade is really nice. She grows pumpkins and is really savvy with computers. She's always telling me I need to carry no less than five computers on me at all times, 'like a sensible person.' Hehehe...

Rose is super smart. She's always trying to psychoanalyze everyone, and she's really good at it! It can be little annoying sometimes, but honestly she's a great person to get advice from.

And Dave... Well, don't tell him I said this, but Dave is the coolest kid I've ever met. He can lay down these totally sweet raps just, like, on the fly. And he writes this hilarious webcomic. He's waaay too tied up in trying to be like his Bro, though.

Er.... don't tell him I said that either.

...hm. Why aren't I supposed to say that?

Uhh, 'cause he'd never let me hear the end of it if he found out.
