Apparently, there's a need for arms training.

Yes. You have been called here for a reason, Abel. We all have. It may be hard to accept, but we've got one last war to fight, for humanity. It is a noble cause, but we shall not be thanked for it.

You're human, aren't you? You like living in.... this world? Any world? This is a struggle only we can undertake. I'm asking you to help because you're here. I don't know you that well, but it is clear you were seeking... something. Maybe this isn't it, right now, but it is something. You'll have a chance here. You're in no one's shadow.

I like living, but I don't have a particular attachment to this world. [ I don't even know if I'm attached to my world, or...the memories that I've made there. ] What I'm seeking is in this world, because the person that knows it is in this world.

But there's other people in my world who have the answers. I don't see why I should help out a world that kidnapped me.

From my experience, just because you can't find a 'scientific' explanation for something, doesn't mean there isn't one.

Either someone hasn't found it, or you're just too dumb to understand it.

I wasn't offended. I had a hard time accepting it myself at first. It wasn't until I saw a companion of mine turned into a Daemon that I understood there are things we can't quantify, can't just account for.
