[Chances are if someone is on the first floor, they might notice one of the rooms is open. There's several items, including books, tins of tea and other trinkets left outside. They might even hear someone humming a certain song. Turns out it was Saori this whole time, cleaning her room. It's really not much of a mess inside, but she wants to make sure everything's properly cleaned before the new year.]

Now, I know I can arrange my bookshelf much better than this...Maybe I can organize it  by...ah, no that's not going to work.

This is more geared towards those who're going to the high school but I could use the feedback. Since I'm work at the cafeteria, I'm just wondering if you guys have any ideas for stuff we could serve up for variety. And of course, if you guys find me in the hotel kitchen, I'm happy to take requests.

I'd always brought my lunch, so I don't know how it compares to my home school, but I say it's about average quality.

...I was under the impression that the servants did any necessary cleaning.

[She turns around to see who was there. A new face around the hotel. Being polite as she is, she bows and smiles.]

Oh, you mean the hotel workers? Well, it's the end of the year. It's a tradition back in my home world to do some heavy-duty cleaning as part of ushering the new year. I hope I wasn't disturbing you with my cleaning.

[Seeing all the stuff around Saori's door, Kaiji will pop in to see what's up. He'll knock on the door frame to get her attention.]

[She turns around and she's a little surprised to see who was at the door. She comes over to him and lightly hugs him.]

Oh Kaiji. Almost scared me for a second. What brings you here?

Are you sure? Well, I just finished dusting all the furniture so it's a matter of purging a few things and bringing back my stuff in my room.

The books are going to be a problem. I think I'll donate some them to the library since I know a certain guy who owns the bookshop won't want them. Can't believe a jerk like him runs it.

[Kaiji flexes an arm, smirking.] I think I can handle some books. You tell me what needs to be packed, and I'll get 'em.

[As he arrives at the hotel from work, Edgeworth can't help but notice that there's a large pile of stuff outside one of the doors down the hall. Rather than going straight to his room, he detours for just a moment to look at the situation more closely, just in case there's something more to it than cleaning.]

[Her back is toward Edgeworth and she's rather lost in her own world, unaware of her new guest. Anything that wasn't bolted down was outside her room. She's kept her room rather tidy but this was the year-end overhaul.]

Who would've thought I've accumulated all of this in the span I've been here...let alone fit in this room. Now that I got all this space dusted, it's all a matter of getting it back to together.

[Edgeworth's surprise at spotting the woman he'd had that awkward conversation with yesterday is understated, but there nonetheless -- after all, the fact that he even spoke was the result of that surprise.]

[She squeaks in surprise and turns around to confirm who's at her door. After bailing out of that conversation, she thought he wouldn't speak to her for a long time.]

Oh, Mr. Edgeworth! S-sorry, I didn't think anyone would be looking in here. Um...how have you been?
