In Which Miki Makes people regret asking her to do things.

[After a bit of fumbling Miki manages to send out a mass text to everyone in prospero, even though it's contents only really concern the Minors of our fair city.]

fyi 4 all you skoolkids im going 2 hav a fighting class aftre schol two day attendence is manditory lol so be there 2 learn 2 fight shadwos

Actions

A. At the hardware store.

[Miki is walking around with a basket full of chains and padlocks, humming contentedly to herself.]

B. Prospero High, around 1 pm.

[Miki is walking around the high school, stopping at all the doors except for the front one, and chaining them shut from the outside.]

C. Prospero High, at the end of the school day.

[Many of the doors have been chained shut, save for the front doors. Outside is a sign that says "Be Prepared! I'm grading you!" (If your character is a high schooler, when you walk out will probably be ambushed by a crazy person.)]

You've already failed the first test. You're gonna have to really impress me the rest of the time to pass.

SHADOW PUNCH!

[Miki yells as, almost reflexively, she steps inside Asuka's punch in an attempt to slam the girl in the stomach with her own punch.]

[Asuka, having gotten used to being forty meters tall again, overshoots and gets slammed in the stomach by Miki.]

[This doesn't keep her from launching into a headbutt at the taller woman's jaw in rage-fueled instinct as she fights the urge to double over and collapse.]

[Woah, usually her victims collapse in pain after being punched in the gut. Miki did not expect a desperate last headbutt to her jaw. Miki stumbles backwords, catching herself on a wall. She begins to praise Asuka through a bleeding mouth, though her words are a bit mumbled by her injured tongue.]

Heh, that waf sufrising. You haf a lot more fight in you than I exfected.

[You're just getting a murderous glare while Asuka clutches her midsection, unable to make a snappy retort. Dammit, pain actually means something when you're fighting on foot...]

[assaultedramen]

[Miki spits out a mouthfull of blood and shakes her head to try to throw off the dizziness of the headbutt.]

You are profink yoursef so far, but we aren't done yet, shadows are moft dangerouf when they are injured...

[Miki steps forward, malicious intent in her eyes as she advances towards Asuka.]

If you touch me again, I will put you in the hospital.

[Asuka's voice is quiet and serious. It might be because her diaphragm is still trying to expand as she stands upright, or it might be because she's going to make good on this threat for once.]

[assaultedramen]

[Miki laughs off Asuka's threat as she advances. She's heard similar threats before. Miki charges, attempting to wrap her arms around Asuka's waist.]

[Asuka is having none of that. With an incoherent yell, she meets Miki's charge with a kick at her stomach. Assuming that at least stops her momentum, Asuka follows up with a right hook to the woman's injured jaw. If nothing else, this is at least getting Asuka used to fighting with her own body again.]

[It's been a while since Miki's been in such a vigorous fight, in her prime she could have easily dodged the kick, but she is both rusty and Asuka is a bit more skilled than the bozos she is used to fighting, so the kick hits her square in the stomach. Miki grins through the pain, dropping down under the punch as it comes around. Despite still not having her full breath, Miki rises up with an uppercut that is somewhat less than the full, knockout strength that Miki would normally be capable of.]

Aaah!

[Asuka, unfortunately, has a bit of a glass jaw when she's not in a giant robot or protected by a Persona, so the uppercut drops her roughly on her back, knocking the wind out of her once more. She lies there for a moment, waiting for Miki to try and get close again.]

[Asuka is on the ground, which is really all that Miki wanted. Somewhat tired from the fight, she pulls out a pad of paper and a marker and scrawls F on it, rips it off, and tosses it in Asuka's direction.]

You're lucky I'm not a shadow. You still habe a lot to learn.
