Being an actual parent to someone who really was younger then him was a whole different mental ball game, especially because his own father was such a bad example of how to be one. So, Gaignun resolved to do everything opposite to Dmitri Yuriev.

No, nothing that exciting. What we have are space ships that take us too and fro up there.

Oh... a ship in space? That sounds like it's really hard to build. How do you even get off the ground?

Well, that depends on the ship. Older models use combustion based thrusters, but now those ones are mainly confined to one system since they can't go very fast. [And...yeah there he goes on a basic ship engine lecture. You might want to stop him if he gets too technical.]

[OH. Hmm. Sorry. Give him a minute to stop and redirect his thoughts.] After this why don't we find the library and I'll find you a book on beginners mechanics. They use combustion here with the cars and things like that.

[Don't worry Ryu, papa will find you one with pictures.] Basically combustion engines work like...a fire. Fire consumes fuel and gives out heat. Heat can be harnessed as energy in various ways.

While not completely accurate, it's a good place to start thinking about the concepts.

That shouldn't be too hard to find. After all there are many businesses in this area alone, not to mention across the city. I'm sure someone is looking for a stock worker.

A resume...it's sort of a list of skills that employers like to look at while they're reviewing candidates for a position. Don't worry about it too much, I think that the businesses here are a little lax at it.
