Support 2: Practice makes perfect! [Action] (Backdated to the 24th)

[So Madoka thinks she's got the gist of this 'Dark Hour' thing, and with others already ahead of her in the leveling game, she needs to start catching up or else they'll always be helping her when she wants to help them.

Which is why you'll probably see her going after small shadows during the Dark Hour tonight. She's being really careful to avoid groups or ones that might run off to stronger shadows, but that means she's spending a lot of energy to pick and choose her targets as she moves through the streets.

After taking out another shadow with what appears to be a curtain rod (it was the first sturdy object she could find and she figured she could use it like a spear), she wipes the sweat from her brow and lets out a sigh...]

Maybe I should have asked someone to power level me, instead... Still, no way I'm going to stay as the weakest of my family around here!

[She emphasizes this point with a clenched fist of determination and looks around for her next target.]

[Miki's pretty fash, though now all she has to do is outrun Madoka!]

Wha- Oh well it seems that they ones that can't be hit still get mad when you try to hit them.

Well, then how do we stop them?! They don't seem to going away and all I can do is hit things!

Don't you have one of those persona thingys?

What?! No! Not yet! That's why I was going after the smaller ones by themselves!

[They are so screwed.]

Well you had better learn fast or know how to climb!

[With relative east Miki jumps off onto the top of a car (setting off the alarm), rebounds and dives out towards the ledge of a nearby one story building, grabbing on before hauling herself up to the roof.]

[kugimin]

[Madoka watches this in utter astonishment before commenting:]

Oh COME ON!! I can't do that!

You could have at least offer me a hand up there or something!!

[Madoka would have stayed to shout some more, but there's still shadows following, so standing still is not a good idea. Not at all. Back to running!]

[Miki shouts back to Madoka.]

If you wanna come up here I'll try and pull you up!

[kugimin]

[Madoka is running around the corner, essentially circling the building as the Shadows follow.]

There's no way I can jump a story, let alone up to you! Where's the fire escape? If you push the ladder down, I might be able to reach that!

[Quick thinking while panicking, who says she can't multitask?]

Fire escape? It's a one story building. I could jump off of the roo- oh!

[Miki disappears for a second then reappears with an old, filthy tire.]

I found this! Maybe you could use it to bounce up here?

[kugimin]

[Still running around the building. Those shadows don't want to give up yet either.]

I AM NOT SOME KIND OF NINJA MARTIAL ARTIST!!

Can these things open closed doors?! Can you let me in the building and lock them out?!

I just got out if jail I'm not breaking onto a building!

[kugimin]

[More running, Madoka has got them following her in a pretty predictable circuit now, so she can actually pace herself as she tries to figure this out.]

Okay! Okay!

What about a rope? I could probably climb a rope! Is there any of that nearby?!

There aren't any ropes up here! Just a bunch of old tires!

[kugimin]

WHO KEEPS TIRES ON THEIR ROOF?!?!

[assaultedramen]

Whoever owned this building. I could keep throwing them down, but then the shadows could follow you up.

[kugimin]

THROW A TIRE AT THEM AT THE NEXT CORNER! I'LL TRY TO LOSE THEM DURING THE DISTRACTION!

With little warning Miki fires the tire at the Maya chasing Madoka. The Maya being immune to physical attacks, is completely unaffected by the tire which merrily skips off the concrete and crashes through a nearby car window.]

OF COURSE THAT DIDN'T WORK!

[kugimin]

I DON'T KNOW I'M BEING CHASED BY SHADOWS I'M PANICKING OKAY?!

[Is the car alarm going off? Are they swarming the car? Are they like the Left 4 Dead zombies?]

[Let's say yes. Miki will lean down and reach out a hand to Kugimiya. She'll have to jump her best to reach Miki, but it's doable.]

Quick!, While they are distracted!

[kugimin]

RIGHT!

[Jumping with all her Cheer-leading skills, Madoka reaches for Miki's outstretched hand!]

[assaultedramen]

[Miki braces herself against the ledge, grabs onto Madoka and hauls her up.]

See you could do it! What were you worried about?

[kugimin]

[Madoka scrambles up with Miki's help, trying to catch her breath.]

I don't normally try to jump building in a single bound like they do in comics...

It took me two bounds though.

[Madoka has flopped onto her back on the roof at this point and is catching her breath, so the reply comes between gulps of air.]

I'm just exaggerating... How'd you learn to do that anyways? Some kinda special training?

I've always been good at stuff like that. I just liked to run around a lot as a kid.

Anyway, are you ok?
