TROIS ☨ ACTION/VIDEO

[ ACTION ]

[This post is brought to you by ALL YOUR BOOKS ARE BELONG TO US. Except not really; if anyone frequents places like the local library or bookstore, they'll probably be able to spot one girl who doesn't come by so frequently sometime during the day, but that's not so interesting. What's interesting is the fact that she doesn't even seem to be reading the books she's flipping through, merely trying to find something she's looking for.

And all these books seem to be focused around one thing: the Maid of Orleans, Saint Jeanne d'Arc. :|a What's up with that right... So why not ask her why she has her face buried so intensely in a book clearly being interrupted is what she needs right now!!]

[ VIDEO ]

[And if that adventure should prove to be unhelpful...] Bonsoir, mademoiselles and messieurs. I fear this is a rather odd question to ask, but...

[She pauses. There really is no subtle way to go about this, but she can't help her curiosity since in the end it is, well, about herself after all.] Is there anyone familiar with saints and the like? I had a question about one of them, and I am afraid the research I attempted did not prove of much use.

Well, it's kinda my job. And it's a lot more interesting than just sitting around, too. I'd go as far as to say it's the opposite of trouble.

What'cha need?

[Signs you've been in Prospero too long: faced with such a request, your first thoughts go along the lines of "I wonder if I'm talking to (legendary figure's name goes here) right now."]

[Processing request, one moment.]

France's heroine of the hundred years' war, right? There should be some biographies, maybe a book or two about that conflict in general. Which would you prefer?

[No, no, it's not you. It's the Grail Mixer that seems to be going on.]

[And-a checking on the nearest computer listing...] Lucky us, I think there might be more of those than books about the war. One sec.

[Time to head for a certain couple of shelves Ruler may or may not have plundered. Follow?]

[In fairness to Joan, some of these books have peculiar titles that don't really do a good job of explaining what's inside.

Like Burning Dames and Godly Games. Which is getting put back on the shelf after a cursory glance and a look of vague disgust.]

[how high do you have to be to write that.....]

[It's for the best. God might demand the heathen who shame his name with such dreadful literature might be made repent their sins asap.]

[But the end result of the search involves the acquiring of a quintet of books that aren't rubbish, which are offered to Ruler.]

Probably the best bets -- there's a few more but... [excalibur reaction face dot jpg no it's not that bad] well, they're lower quality.

Mind if I ask why the interest?

What, exactly? Err, if I'm allowed to keep being curious, that is.
devola: (Not liking the look of this.)

[ :|face because this... might be difficult info to figure out.]

Y'know, I'm not even sure if record-keeping was good enough back then to keep such a thing. You might just be looking at finding out the right month, or barring that, the nearest solstice.

...Err, not trying to be negative here. Just, heads-up, y'know?

[They are waterfall-tears of joy obviously okay no that's a lie those aren't even a slight drizzle. Devola nods, as if satisfied with the reply.]

That's the spirit. Don't know if ya don't try, no guts no glory, and all other manner of similar phrases~♪
