Five [Action/Video] And so begins the 'TVK is unconscious for two weeks' event

[Hello, Prospero. It's time for a short lesson in Spark biology, so sit yourselves down.

It should be no surprise that Spark brains are a bit differently wired than the brains of normal humans. Why does this matter right now? The way they're wired, science and sex are inextricably linked up. They produce the same arousal state and light up the same reward pathways. In short, they activate the same areas in the brain that set off that lovely 'sexy thoughts make you pass out' caveat on this event.

What does this mean?

You can find Klaus passed out in a variety of amusing locations today. He was out the moment the event started and has been blinking in and out of consciousness all day. His Spark may be damped down, but his brain is still wired the same way.

This sucks.]

A; School, Midday [Action]

[Biology class is weird today. Why? Well, it's not the topic, because this class is in the middle of learning all about the wonders of muscles (bet you thought it was going to be the reproductive system, you terrible people). No, this class is weird because the teacher passed out over his desk about five minutes in and as yet hasn't woken up.

Students, feel free to poke him and speculate over whether he's dead or not.]

B; Hotel First Floor Hallway, Late Afternoon [Action]

[Oh come on he was just thinking off-hand about how to improve on Ada's improvements to his lightning sword. OH WELL. Hotel residents, there is a large man blocking the hallway. Wat do?]

C; Lab, Late Evening [Video]

[Somehow he managed to make it to his lab, then promptly passed out at the SCIENTIFIC POSSIBILITIES and has just now woke up again.

And he isn't pleased.]

Does anyone have any idea what these sudden spontaneous fits of unconsciousness may be linked to? I wouldn't bother asking except they are becoming an extreme inhibitor to getting anything done. The Dark Hour is entirely out of the question for me in the state and if anyone else is experiencing such symptoms they would be advised to stay in tonight as well until a cure can be found.

[Saori was about to get Sirius's leash from her room when she finds Klaus in the hallway. Sirius in the meantime walks over to investigate. By licking his face of course. Saori shoos him away so she can check on him.]

Baron, are you alright?

[Oh ew, he's going to wake up with puppy slobber on his face?

Maybe he'd prefer to just stay comatose.

Which he does.]

Hmm...Sirius, be a good boy and keep a watch on the Baron will you? I'll be right back.

[He sits down on next to the Baron's feet and barks. Saori rushes over to the hotel kitchen. Minutes later, she comes out with....a plate of waffles, a fork, and a bottle of maple syrup.]

I'm not sure if this will work but it's worth a shot.

Oh Baron, I made waffles~.

[Heh, so his son has finally decided to off his old man. Patricide or not, Klaus's large mass is blocking the hallway, and in her injured state, Miki figures climbing over him would be a bit much. So she swiftly kicks him in the side with her good leg.]

OI! Wake up!

[His son isn't even in Prospero, Miki. Good guess, though! If anyone could kill their father despite being halfway across time and space, it would be Gilgamesh Wulfenbach. Klaus didn't raise no lazybones.]

[Here, Klaus, your favorite student is papping your face and trying to wake you up. She's looking pretty worried and starting to look for the intercom herself.]

[Geez Klaus, you're so inconsiderate. Passing out in a perfectly good walkway and making Ingrid have to stop and make faces at you. And under normal circumstances this would end with her doing something terrible to wake him; like kicking him, or pouring water on him, or setting waffles on fire in his presence or something equally heinous. But today is not a normal day and instead of physical attacks and witty one liners, Ingrid is staring. Just staring. Staring like she's made some grand realization and has developed some senility driven confusion mixed in with a little 'hey I'd tap that' and some 'eewww when was the last time this floor was cleaned' and 'Klaus are you drooling?'. It's a pretty interesting expression.]

He also looks kind of banged up; there's a bruise forming over one eye. This is clearly not the first time he's fallen face-first onto something.

Gosh, Ingrid, isn't he just charming? He'd probably be more charming if he were awake, but you can't have everything.]

[Hey, he'd probably make a bad impression even if he were awake. Mad Scientists tend to do that -- it's just in their nature.

It doesn't look like he's going to wake up, though. His face is glued to one of the papers on the desk. He's going to wind up with the introduction to Chapter 10: The Muscular System tattooed on his cheek.]

No. No, I can't say that I can offer any suggestions as to what's effecting you. What are you normally doing when this happens, do you know?
