Not quite. [ Admitting she fell in combat to someone like him is something she wants to prevent, but she can tell he longs for some kind of companionship. So to give a bit of the truth shouldn't hurt terribly.

We have bled together, I feel it only right we use first names... well, in my case at least. You have your own reasons for doing otherwise from what I understand.

Absolutely. It would be an honor. I would also like to hear accounts of your time, and would share some of mine, if you are willing.

[ There's some hesitation with that. Not because she didn't trust him, but because ... could she really be proud of everything she's done? Shirou taught her it was alright to accept herself, but to boast about them to a stranger was entirely different. ]

Of course. Would you prefer stories of battles I have fought in, or the overarching framework of the Imperium? I have been told I am a good storyteller, though I do not see it myself.

I would not mind hearing anything and everything you would like to share. Although perhaps not all in one sitting.

Perhaps an account of the Triumph of Ullanor would be a good place to start. I could fetch wine and ready a table in the hotel, if you'd like. [ If it was anyone other than Garviel, that might be a come on. From him, it's just good manners. ]

Training? What makes you think we were training?

It could only be that or fighting. What else could it possibly be? [ So very innocent. ]

We do seem to lack apothecaries or medicae, true enough. I recently met a young lady who was wounded here as well. Will Saber be alright? I would not have our champion laid low.

I don't think it's anything very serious. There's likely no need to be concerned.

I shall take your word for it, but I have already seen Saber suffer terribly from the shadows. I have... lost leaders in the past. I would not have it happen again.

I would guard Saber's life with my own. No such thing is going to happen as long as I'm still here.

As would I, friend, as I would I. He is quite a leader... but I have known many good leaders of men. Because of the circles I traveled in before I came here.

As have I, and I can safely say that Saber is one of the best.

I knew two better, but it is hardly fair to compare a mortal to the Emperor of Mankind and Horus Lupercal, his heir. Still, I would die for Saber.

As would I, should the situation arise.

We should gather our forces once more, and undertake a concerted assault on the shadows, once Saber is healthy.
