This is Kayneth Archibald El-Melloi speaking. It appears as though there's been some sort of mistake here-I have no memory of coming to America, nor did I have any plans to come to America. To be transported from Japan to America without knowing isn't exactly natural.

Does anyone know what happened here, or am I going to have to figure things out for myself?

One time, pretty much taunting us. The last time, they told us they gave us nothing to do for December as a 'break'.

Generally speaking, on the week before the full moon, the Shadows would affect the people in the city. Even us, if we're unfortunate enough.

On the full moon night itself, the Shadow responsible would appear.

What kinds of effects would they cause? I assume they're negative, but are they primarily psychological?

Primarily, they affect our minds. One time, everyone have the sudden urge to gamble at the casino, another time they're confessing their feelings.

The odd one out, so far, was the zombies.

How difficult have they been to resist? Assuming that it's possible to resist them at all, of course.

It varies. Some of them are easy to resist, others are a little more difficult.

In October, people disappeared and only return as a corpse on the beach. During the Dark Hour, they start moving around and attacking everyone. It became more serious when they're even moving during the day and kill people.

Yes. But they still surprised us, because they're docile at first before the sudden change in behaviour.

My prior experience would like to say that they only want to consume your flesh, but we're basically arguing semantics. Regardless of their intent, their success results in your death.
