Unit 6 - Where in the Hotel gains access to a pool table. No need for a bar.

[Early one evening, if one happens to walk through the hotel lobby, they may notice something that hadn't been there when they had left through those doors.

A pool table.

Thanks to that odd offer of the powers that be to give them back something from home, Gaignun (somewhat jokingly) asked for the pool table from his office, and got it much to his surprise. It's a well loved pool table, well made with a few nicks and scratches in the wood work that speaks to the fact that it actually got used.

So there it sits, in the side of the hotel lobby, fully decked out with a sign posted saying "Free to play, just take good care of it."

It's owner, a face familiar to mosmt is right now just happily noodling around on it, making random shots. Feel free to join him, he's always up for a game.]


[[ooc: So the hotel now has a pool table, which is free for anyone to use. It's now a fixture there until he finds somewhere else to put it so feel free to appropriate it for other threads and what not.]]

Hm. It's a good distraction from programming, in any case.

[And once Gaignun's taken his next shot, Naoya will just line up his own shot and sink one of the balls with ease.]

Well, it's always good to have a break from staring at a computer screen once in a while. [This at least he understands. Paper work in his century is all computerized and boy does he have a lot of it to do.]

It was rather nice of the hotel staff to let me store this here for a while.

Yes. I foolishly didn't consider it a genuine offer and just asked for the first thing that popped into my head. Not one of my smarter moments.

If there's a next time, perhaps you can take advantage of it more effectively.

Hopefully. I'll have to think about it. The problem, everything I would want back is a little on the sizable side.

You could ask for something you could sell to get yourself a place with more room.

There's not much else I would want from home.

I suppose. [Of course, all of his 'antiques' that would net him a lot of money haven't really even been made in this world yet.]

Still, we'll have to see if that offer is even made again.

It is. What would you ask for if they decided to let us have another one?

Hmm...

[He thinks about it for a few moments.]

A gun, I think. One that's expensive and customized. Fighting with my persona is fine, but I'd like to do some actual damage without it. And considering the cost of some guns... if I could get one without draining half my account it would be nice.

[He hears you, using a gun himself in this place.] Well, quality does take some money...not to mention the restocking of ammunition.

Exactly. There's not too much I had in my world that I can't really get here, in any case.

There are some things that I can not get in this world, but to be honest I don't really need them as they have equivalents here.

[He misses his easy on the eyes holo-computer screens.]

Out of curiosity, what's the ate when you're from?

About 4000 or so years in the future of this time period, give or take a century or two.

Much of this technology must seem quite primitive to you, then, given how humanity has a tendency to advance such at an increasing speed.

It does, though I can easily see the prototypes for what we have back home. Computers, transportation, literature.

For the most part I have. Still, there are plenty of things I miss terribly, just for the fact that they're more convenient.

Tch. Agreed. Unfortunately I doubt that whomever is running this place is willing to provide me with my old server, which would make things much more interesting.

Oh, have a sense of adventure. I mean that for one I would have access to more magic than just that possessed by my Persona.

I do have a sense of adventure, I just worry about what your idea of 'interesting' may be. Though I must admit, having some abilities like more magic from home would make things easier for you here.

Ah, well. I suppose most people would worry about that.

Healing skills, for one, which my Persona seems to lack. A few more Almighty spells would also be helpful, considering nothing where I'm from is immune to it.
