Either way, while I admire your resourcefulness to be able to remove me from my castle despite my security, I'm afraid we have a problem. Now, I'm a reasonable man, so I'll give you a chance to come out and explain yourself. What is it you want? Money? Technology? Or is this about the gargoyles? Would a cosmic coincidence not be sufficient? An act of fate? If a phenomenon was responsible, then surely, you would have to agree there's no "intent" behind a force of nature.

I suppose a supernatural accident is a possibility...but it strikes me as odd that this supposed force of nature would be so generous as to supply us with communication technology or so predictable that someone could leave it exactly where it's needed.

Is it not entirely possible that could be unrelated? The force might only be responsible for transporting us here. Even then, you're correct. There must be some conscious presence who sees it fit to prepare this for us.

That brings us back to the fact that I woke up with it on my person. That implies that either there's a connection or my mysterious benefactor went out of their way to find me and give me the communications device without waking me up, then just left me in the street with no explanation given.

We still don't know exactly why we're here, though personally I think it's someone's grand experiment.

I'm afraid our captor won't be showing their faces anytime soon. We've been doing investigations about them for some time but we keep running into dead ends.

As to what they want from us, we don't know that either. The one thing we do know is that they sure go out of their way to bring people from different worlds and times here.

How much have you been informed about Prospero? ...And what was that you said about gargoyles?

I've already been told about the time periods, Shadows, Persona, extra hour and hotel. As for the gargoyles, well...let's just say I have some strange friends whose public image leaves something to be desired.

Okay, so you're pretty much on top of things. Also, if for any reason you need to leave the island, it is possible but the Dark Hour still applies apparently. Oh and one warning. It is possible to die but death here...has a bit of a revolving door.
