Yo, everyone! Atsuro here with your monthly update!

[Here there be Shadow Database attachment! People will either find theirs updated or a brand new one if they’re new.]

If you haven’t heard already from others or Madoka earlier, I’m currently maintaining the Shadow Database. It lists all the Shadows we discovered so far, along with their strengths and weaknesses. Meaning you can study up on them before you find them outside, or you can try looking it up during battle. But I recommend having a partner with you if you do that, just to cover for you.

As for other recommendations, make sure you know you and your partners can do in battle. Physical attacks, magic, healing, scanning... just to cover your bases against the Shadows. You never know when you meet a Shadow that can possibly strike your weakness.

On a similar note, this might be obvious and most people already know, but we gotta say it again. There are some Shadows that are immune to physical blows and moves. If you can’t use any elemental spells, you better find someone who can or run away from those Shadows.

[He pause, before looking serious.]

Last month’s mostly uneventful, when it comes to the full moon. [HE WON’T BOTHER MENTIONING DRAMA IN AMONG A CERTAIN CAST] But that doesn’t mean this month’s will be the same, so keep an eye on the moon cycle. Particularly the week before the full moon, things normally happen around that time.

Other than that, I’m also open for people to help out with the database! So if you can work with programs or can gather information from the Shadows, please speak to me or Madoka if you’re interested.

I'm thinking... of any events like the tests that happen here, or anything that's happened on the island.

Miss Devola's writing up a summary of the past full moons, but I can tell you them since I've experienced those events.

That would be great, actually. [ but - ] Will Miss Devola be making her writings available to the public when she's done?

Yeah. I'd get them first, but the writings will be public to us.

That's great to know. I spoke to someone before and there didn't seem to be much information available for people when they arrived, but it's good to know it's being dealt with.

We were a bit disorganised at first, but we're quickly fixing that up. I'm hoping we get that 'introductory' information ready as soon as possible.

That's understandable. There must be a lot to cover.

There would be, I reckon. It gotta cover the basics, as well as making it open to both people from Earth or not, and from different time periods.

So, this place really does bring people from all over...

That's right! So don't be surprised if you explain what's common knowledge here to a new person, like what is the United States.

Right, I'll try not to. It's still feels strange to me, but I guess anyone coming from somewhere else is going to feel even more out of place.

Yeah. We're not in our worlds right now, so that extra confusion won't help... All the more for us to help out.

I don't know what to offer, but I would be willing to help in any way if you need another person. I've done freelance journalist work in the past, but even then, if you need a hand with something else...

I'm always up for more people doing information gathering. Maybe you might find something we overlooked?
