[...This is ridiculous. She shouldn't be alive - not for a third time, and not without Souichirou. Everything about this is wrong.

Caster can't feel the connection to a Master, either, and she doesn't have to try to realize her magic has been stripped from her. All of her power is gone; she can feel that much. She hasn't been so helpless in all her life.

She finds a phone next to her on a bench, and without thinking she picks it up. She doesn't have a number to dial, so she just puts the phone to her ear and hopes someone's on the other end.]

...I seem to be lost. Is there anywhere I can find shelter here...? Heh. I doubt I'll be as lucky as I was last time...

If anyone's there, please respond. Even telling me the name of this place would be a help. I can't repay you right now, but...

[She trails off, and stops talking. She doesn't really have any intention of owing someone a favor just because they decided to tell her the name of the city though.]

Hello. [It's awkward to greet her when he doesn't yet know her name.] I, I'd like to say first that if there is anything you need that I can give you, please ask. Circumstances aside - if you are my brother's fiancee, then you must be my sister, and I would be remiss in leaving you to fend for yourself.

[Caster gives him a strained smile. She killed her last brother - she's not certain Issei should be calling her his sister so easily. But there's no way he can possibly know about who she really is, so she tries to ease that strained smile into something a little more natural-looking. She can't promise to be a sister to him, but she can promise to try. Besides, it's good to have allies in unknown places, especially when your powers are gone.]

It's nothing really, to help someone in need of it. Ah, if I could ask one question... what should I be calling you?

[Given that he doesn't have a name for her yet.]

[Here, she pauses. Should she use her real name, or should she use her Servant class? She's uneasy with both options. What if there are other people from Fuyuki here - specifically, other Servants? Her own presence here is indication that somehow, Servants can be brought here. They would surely call her "Caster." If she used "Medea," that would be strange, wouldn't it? Those people wouldn't call her Medea at all.

On the other hand, maybe she's being too paranoid. But she's still used to protecting her true name, so she says:]

Caster.

...I see. That's a Servant class, I think, isn't it?

[What he was told was abbreviated.]

[SHIT. Well, if he knows that much, there's no use playing dumb.]

Lancer did. There are more than a few Servants here as well as some Masters, and I nagged my way into being told.

Lancer is here? Tch.

...Who are the other Servants?

[She's assuming he's talking about Cuchulainn, of course.]

Saber, Lancer, Gilgamesh, two Riders - one is Alexander the Great and I don't know who the other is.

[At least Archer's not here!!! It's her only solace.]

...But she doesn't. What exactly would that accomplish? She'd potentially drive the two of them apart. A fitting punishment for Emiya, but not for Issei, who had only supported Souichirou and herself.]

...I see. I'll just have to keep an eye out for him, I suppose.

Besides that, there are a few others... Emiya's father, from the last war, I know was a Master.

Was he? That's interesting.

Are there any Masters from the fifth war here, besides the Emiya boy?

[Just so she knows whether or not she should be wary of them.]

I don't think so. None have announced themselves at least.

[That's good. That gives her fewer people to watch out for. She wasn't exactly popular during the Grail War, and for Masters of the fifth War to have a grudge against her is definitely a possibility.]
