Unit 1 - Video

[The video clicks on, showing a black haired man with a very mild look of bewilderment on his face.  Not as much as one might expect from a total newbie, but by this point he's a tad used to waking up in strange places. Thanks Dad. Though really, this doesn't look like what he expected the afterlife to be. He really doesn't feel dead though so he's guessing he's alive.]

Oh so that button is the same...[Oh. Right. Broadcasting. He clears his throat]

I suppose I should go out on a limb and assume that this was not where I was supposed to end up. For one thing, I've been to most of the planets that like to emulate Lost Jerusalem and this does not look at all familiar.   Would someone be kind enough to tell me what is going on here?  Or at least where this place is? I have to admit I am a little lost.

Huh? [Abrupt topic change there, but he recovers quickly] A beach? A real one? [While he had his private one at home, the prospect of seeing a real honest to goodness on a planet beach is still exciting.]

As authentic as it comes. I've yet to spend a day there, but I've seen it myself.

[Gaignun is silent for a moment] I suppose we'll have to change that now won't we. Jr would probably want to go too.

[He figures Albedo wouldn't have brought it up if he didn't want to go sometime. So Gaignun is trying to word this as tactfully as he can.]

By ignoring half of what I say and going off to try and blow something up anyways it seems. Also, if he puts up with me he gets to hang out with Mary a lot more so I don't think he minds.

Somewhat, though honestly Mary is almost as bad. [He shakes his head an snorts, but there is a definite element of fondness.] I just feel better if he doesn't go off completely on his own.
