Also, I heard some people are missing things. Did any of you arrive without any changes?

[How did text work again oh screw it format wasn't important right now.]

Ainosuke. [When Lancer got the video working, it was clear he had a few small scratches on his face as well as bandages wrapped around his arms. He really needed to find a better way to block attacks without risking a broken arm.]

Something...isn't quite right.

[alksdjkla turning his video on because he can't freak out over text as well and HE LOOKS SO WORRIED ;A; speaking all rushed like]

What's wrong? Are you okay? Where are you?

What? Calm down, I'm alright. [Once you'd died a couple times, some scratches and possibly bruised ribs weren't such a big deal.]

I'm in the hotel. Perfectly fine.

Okay...

[He says that but he doesn't look very comforted, though he does relax a little knowing the other isn't outside and vulnerable to anything. Ainosuke takes a few deep breaths before speaking again.]

... what happened?

I found myself in what you would call a difficult situation last night. It seems I underestimated just how drastic my losses upon arrival really were.

You could say that, yes. But that's beside the point right now.

Something...unusual happened. I'm not sure what to make of it just yet.

I'm not sure how to phrase this without seeming as if I've lost my mind.

I...saw something last night. Someone, rather; someone that surely could not have been there. He appeared for only a moment, and then vanished into thin air.

I think we're past the sounding crazy part.

Was it someone you knew? From home?

Regardless of circumstance, I honestly feel half-crazed for witnessing such a thing. It may well have been a delusion or some kind of hallucination.

And no, not exactly. I never knew him myself, I only heard stories of him. He was a legendary hero, a knight of myth and legend--surely he couldn't have actually been in this city.

A hallucination is always a possibility, especially if the experiment theory is correct.

[He wasn't sure how to react to the rest of that, though.]

I see few other explanations for such an occurrence. [Unless Lancer really wasn't the only Servant in the city.]

And I can't quite imagine that could actually have happened. [Actually, he could do so quite easily. It was just so startling that Lancer wasn't sure he fully believed his own senses anymore.]

I'll keep checking and see if anyone else says something similar.

That may be the best option. I know I'm in no state that would warrant such strange visions.

[Just hope Ainosuke doesn't get intent on following you, or you won't have a choice.]

It's not safe for you to be running around by yourself, either.

No, it isn't. But I have quite a lot of experience with putting myself in dangerous situations.

I don't like not be able to do anything.

I survived, and I've survived far worse in the past.

...And I don't like the idea of someone else putting themselves in danger when I could do so just as easily with far less risk of getting killed.

I've been through a lot too, you know. [Okay, so it wasn't necessarily fighting monsters...]

I still want to find out everything I can about this place.

[pause]... and if I don't go with you, I'll find another way to do it.

[This was proving to be difficult, but that was in itself admirable. If Ainosuke was so determined, then that was a good thing--combined with the fact that Lancer knew he was passable in a fight.]

Really, Ainosuke was much more determine than he had shown just yet. There hadn't been much opportunity for him to show off his other skills and more positive points.]
