Right, okay. I don't know if anybody else has this problem, but I'm just a little behind the times when it comes to technology - that is, things have advanced enough here that I don't know as much as I'd like even if I can manage the important stuff.

I was going to keep this entry short. Uh. I need game suggestions. If anybody is current with video game technology, what should I be saving up for? Cost is definitely a concern, but I'm pretty sure I can get something eventually. And I'd like something with multiplayer options, 'cause, you know. It is my solemn duty as roommate and Master to introduce Caster to everything that exists. It is also my solemn duty to beat the pants off of him a couple times.

So. What kinds of games do you guys like?

Yep! The television's what you use to show the video games with. Um, this is pretty much impossible to demonstrate without actually having a video game to show.

Okay. When you turn on a television show or your crystal ball, that's just showing what's happening somewhere else. You don't have any control over that. What if you had some control over what was happening in it?

Well, it'd look like that, anyway. The people in video games don't really exist, but the idea is that you're controlling them.

Controlling people that do not exist... What is the point of that?

Um, sometimes games are challenging and you want to be able to beat the game that was designed to stop you. And sometimes you just want to compete with the people you're playing with. The fake people are just a vehicle for the competition.

...Sorry. I guess I thought it would be fun doing anything with you no matter what it was.

[Now you're going to make him sad.]

[Sad Ryuunosuke is not a good thing. Just as swiftly as it came, his sulking fades and he whirls on the shorter man.]

So what sort of games can you play on this television? Has chess faded from interest?

I can play chess. I'm not that great, but I know how to play. I was thinking of more actiony games, but do you want to see if we can pick up a regular chessboard?

Action-y? You can do that on there? You will need to show me when you acquire one.

You sure? I mean, I can still manage to feed both of us, it'll just take longer to save up for anything. But it'd be good to have another income, too...

But I've never had that much praise from somebody I looked up to this much before. It's new and different.
