[ When the video feed clicks on, there's actually some more silence for a few moments as the man frowns slightly - as if in concentration - at the device. But then when he notices it's working now, that he figured it out, his expression eases up a little to form a more neutral face. This person doesn't seem panicked about the situation in the slightest, even if he might be curious. ]

I assume this device is working now. [ Thankfully the grail's influence and all that helps slightly with figuring out this sort of things. He takes a deep breath, as if preparing himself to speak. His voice is rather composed, reassured. ] I have been summoned to this place. For what purpose, I do not know yet. [ But there is a purpose, there has to be, he knows. Even if he's not here as a Servant exactly, there's always some sort of purpose when God is involved. All he has to do is figure out what, and that thought steadies him, makes him as calm as always. ]

It seems this summoning was quite.. unconventional though. And though I do know that I should be giving out my name first before asking any questions as a sign of good will, I am not quite sure if it would be right to refer to myself as 'Archer' when I have not entirely been summoned as such this time. Still, any information at all concerning my current predicament would be appreciated.

Even if one does not shut up, it doesn't necessarily have to be a bad quality. As long as what they say is useful or wise or good, it is not that bad. ... However, I am inclined to believe that is not the case here, considering it is 'hot air'.

Not really. Quite the opposite, in my opinion -- well, except for a few special cases. [Physical Immunity? Rubbish...] It's almost more tempting to see who wants to spar among the actual people here than it is to deal with those things.

I will make sure to reserve my judgment on the matter until I actually talk to him, but.. I will keep your advice in mind. [ GIVING SO MUCH RESPECT EVERYWHERE BALANCING OUT ALL THE JERKINESS. ]

Some seek out the thrill of the fight and others will not seek it out, but enjoy it all the same. Personally I would say I do not seek out confrontation unless it is required, but I do not have any kind of dislike for battle at all. Unless it is an unnecessary and cruel battle.

Sounds about right. It'd be strange to see a total pacifist summoned for a war.

A Servant who refuses to fight.. I doubt their Master would be very pleased with such a development, unless they did not want to participate to start with.

The question of how they'd stay alive is also pretty compelling. Now I'm really starting to wonder...

If there is truly a pacifist Servant out there, we might be able to meet them in this place eventually. After all, it does seem like this city harbors a lot of Servants already, does it not?

Bit of an understatement, that. Let's see... three Archers now -- yourself included, three Sabers, a Berserker, two Lancers, heard there was a Caster at one point... think there was a Rider? Might be gone, I forget.

It does seem like this place favors certain classes over others.

Guess so, though I doubt it's that simple. We're all more or less on an even playing field, after all.

Perhaps it is truly just random, and we will see more Servants of the other classes appear later, or maybe not. I suppose it will all reveal itself to us eventually.

It does not matter much for our present situation, after all. It is just.. interesting.

If they show up, they show up. If they don't, good for them I suppose. I just hope if more Servants do join our ranks they're agreeable in personality.

'Interesting' is a pretty diplomatic way of putting it. It's a bit of a bother, if you ask me, but not disagreeable.

That much is only natural. It is far better to at least be able to agree on things and get along.. or at least have some resemblance of respect for each other in a place like this rather than just annoy each other until we are able to leave again.

I think it is only natural to treat people with respect from the moment you need them. It is only the way God would have wanted it. [ not saying much on the latter.. oh so you're one of those types, Lancer, but this guy here isn't really judging. ]
