[The screen flickers on, and those watching will see a face they are certainly unfamiliar with. Why? Because this is the face of a young lion cub, curiously inspecting the device! You may see a paw flop against the screen shorting before it actually attempts licking it. Only then can a familiar voice be heard from the background.]

Oi, Enkidu. Have you seen my-- Damn it! That's mine, you infernal furball!

[Yes. Gilgamesh is actually attempting to wrestle his phone back from the lion cub. Of course, it think's  he's trying to play so viewers will have fun watching this little scruffle. But alas, Gilgamesh IS king and he eventually obtains the device, shooting a glare to the screen.]

Saber, where the hell are you? Come pick up your pet. It keeps trying to eat my phone.

[Note: Enkidu will totally be threadjacking some of these threads since, you know. Heterosexual life partner and all.]

A lion cub. One of the most fearsome beasts on this Earth. One day he will be the mighty King of the Jungle. A fitting pet for the King of Knights, no?

King of Knights? Wha? ...Well, I guess an animal called "King of the Jungle" would be a decent match for someone with a title like that.

That's not my problem. Saber is the one who wanted it. If she can't keep a leash on it, she's a failure of a king. A king rules all, you see. Even beasts should bend to his will.

Wow. I don't think I've heard anything more laissez-faire than that. Guess it's not without merit though.

Suppose that "Saber" can't keep an eye on it, would you take responsibility as the reason it was placed into her hands?

Ha! Are you saying she cou-- ...Hm. Actually, you have some intellect with your words. With the way she's been holding up here... Still, there's nothing to worry about in a while. Lions take at least a few years to fully mature.

[Actually, he has no fucking idea. HE JSUT ASSUMES THEY MATURE AS FAST AS ENKIDU which is pretty damn slow.]

It was kind of a blanket statement. I dunno Saber, so I can't say anything regarding her ability to take care of really big kitties.

She actually raised a good point, since... he didn't actually know if Saber was capable of such a task either. BUT WHATEVER. His judgement is totally perfect and never flawed.]

Hmpf. If she can't take care of such a creature, I'll simply have to return it to the wild. Or serve it at a feast.
