Has anyone seen a puppy? [ The mortification coming from the speaker's voice is palpable. He sounds tired and upset. ] We became...separated when I arrived here.

She's white, floppy ears, fluffy, about a month old. I think...she's a Great Pyrenees, but I can't confirm it since she's a stray.

Any information is appreciated.

I have rarely seen people arrive in groups, but it's not unheard of, and pets may be an exception to the rule.

Yeah, I have. [ Not surprised, Abel tries to describe his puppy. ] A breed of dog from the Pyrenees mountains. They're really big, white and fluffy.

I am truly sorry, I have not seen it. The only dog around here is a wolf that has spent too long away from other wolves.

A dog? Well, I've seen a few stray mutts around, but I don't think any of 'em are pups.

[There is a pause before the speaker continues in a listless tone, the background sounds in the feed are indisputably those one would hear at the docks.]

If you came here through a less-than-normal means, I doubt your dog was dragged along as well.

Can't say the place is all sunshine and rainbows here, but I doubt it'd be terrible for a little pup either. 'Specially with someone looking for them.

[A chuckle.] The strays I've seen so far seem pretty happy and healthy, anyway.

I have yet to see any sort of stray that fits that description. There is a place here where they pick up animals--[ A pause as unfamiliarity sets in. ]--to ... keep them prisoner?

[ The confidence she held was gone rather quick. ]

I am uncertain as to what that sort of dungeon is called. A punch perhaps?

[ While she trails off into a quiet murmur regarding the name, there are strange growls in the background. ]

[ It's been an exhausting day; tt takes Abel a couple of minutes to process what he's been told, and when he does, he goes into a fit of low chuckles.

That's just...funny. ] ...you mean a 'pound'. [ Abel isn't sure what that growl coming from his phone can be, but it doesn't sound too happy. ] That's where animals roaming the streets get taken too. Sometimes, they're shelters too.

[ That does sound familiar and so it leaves her sheepish with her mistake. How embarrassing of a king to confuse one word for another. ]

Judging by your knowledge, I assume you have already considered the option? [ Which leaves another. ] One of the school children may have happened upon her. The ones who have arrived here are compassionate. Their dorms are not too terribly far away in the city.
