Chapter 08 ~ Action

[ If you happen to decide to visit the bookstore today (or, you know, you work here), you'll notice there is a fairly large amount of books laying in front of the store, as if they were tossed out with little care. We're talking piles of books, guys. You can probably take them if you want, because it doesn't seem anyone is actually paying attention to what the hell is going on. Just be careful if you walk into the store, because you may or may not be pelted with even more books. Why? Because Gilgamesh. Do we really need to say more? He's been busy going through literally every book in the store, and discarding any he finds offensive. You can already tell where this is going, right?

Gilgamesh. In the bookstore. Disposing of books. While wearing this. Yes, your worst nightmares have come true. Gilgamesh is the new owner of this fine establishment, much to the horror of two certain servants who just so happen to work here part-time. How will they react? How will you react? Let us find out on today's action packed episode of Goldie Takes Over The World! ]

[ Oh, for the love of Ninlil.

He'll just use enough force to knock his chair back, hopefully avoiding her first attempt of a punch. But he's totally ready to fire back at her with the chair he was just in! ]

You worm. You dare attack a king in his own store? I should have you put down like a mangy mutt!

[Missing Gil with her initial punch, Miki plants her right foot, and spins around, aiming for the now slightly further away Gil with the back of her heel. He may want to consider using that chair very soon. As she spin into the attack, Gil's continues insults spurn her no new heights of creativity with her attack name, which is screamed as she comes around.]

"ONIMARU ALBINO CRUUUUSHERRRRR!"

[ Okay, Miki. I'm sorry. He usually takes random attacks personally, but that attack name was just so stupid he couldn't help but start laughing his ass off. Which unfortunately leaves him wide open for attack. Oh Gil, your own ego is your only weakness. ]

[Seeing Gil start to laugh in the last seconds of her attack lighten Miki's mood a bit. Unfortunately a combination of inertia and the enjoyment Miki gets out of kicking people means that her foot still connects, hard, with Gil's face.]

[ Well, at least he knows how to take a kick to the face. You know, the whole actually letting it hit and now a cut caused by your own stupidity is open and bleeding again. Yeah, pretty sure his laughter is coming to a sudden stop. All that remains is an icy glare from the King of Heroes. ]

Woman. You've got about three seconds to start running before I turn you into a pincushion.

[Miki lands back a few feet in front of Gil. Her toothy grin is starting to edge a bit on the crazy side after his threat.]

Heee? You think you have a chance here blondie?

[ Of course, that will simply make him lose his shit again. Seriously, what is it with these mongrels today? ]

Ahahaha!

You... you really think you stand a chance against me? The King of Heroes? You really are dumber than you look.

Heh, I don't need to be smart to know that the only thing you're gonna be king of soon is hell!

[Miki charges again, looking as if she's gonna throw another punch.]

[Is this woman serious...? ]

Give me a break. I was already one of the Judges of the Netherworld. I don't plan on going back anytime soon.

[ Either way, he'll be picking up the desk in mere seconds. And apparently attempting to swing it at her. ]

[Noticing that there is now a desk coming at her from the side, Miki decides that continuing her forward course of action is somewhat unwise and drops down the the floor sideways, propping herself on her left arms and swinging her right leg around towards Gil's legs.]

[ Damn. He almost avoided her leg sweep by attempting to quickly set the desk back down and hop over it, but in the end he was just too slow and ends up falling onto the desk instead. When he does manage to push himself back up, he'll shoot her the dirtiest glare he can manage. ]

Get. OUT.

[Miki really isn't too concerned at the glare and lets it hit her with its full force, she will agree to his offer, shouting the conditions of her terms of egress.]

APO-LO-GIZE!

[Each syllable is used to accent her movements as she changes position from the end of her sweep, as she flips herself over to reset her legs and thrusts the non-swept leg towards Gil's stomach.]

[ Damn it, Miki. You've seriously got to stop pissing him off and then making him laugh his ass off. It's totally not fair to screw him over like that okay! Because, yeah. Gilgamesh. Apologizing. Not ever gonna happen. Instead, he's laughing like a dumbass again. Which results in him getting the wind kicked out of him. ]

Damn it, woman! If you had any idea what I was actually capable of...! If this stupid town hadn't taken away my treasury, I'd--

[ But it is pretty useless to claim anything at this point. Although Miki hasn't harmed him nearly as much as a certain Irish knight had earlier in the day, it certainly didn't make him feel any better.

Wait. Why didn't he think of this before!? It's perfect! Ingenious, even! All he has to do is throw a bunch of money at her and she'll disappear, right? Either way, Miki will suddenly be showered in money. What do? ]

[Miki haul herself up and looks at Gil with a giant, smug grin, letting the money rain around her.]

It's sad that punks like you try to use their wealth to get out of their rightful punishments. Money isn't going to pay for your crime.

I've done no wrong.

[ At least, that's his story and he's sticking with it. ]

There is nothing I hate more than [b]LIARS![/b]

[Miki quickly takes a few steps towards Gilgamesh and throws a large amount of her weight behind a right hoot at his jaw.]

[ NOPE HE IS WISE TO YOUR ATTACKS NOW MIKI.

Totally catching the fist and attempting to crush it because he's kind of a dick like that. ]

Don't be so foolish as to think someone of my class would lower themselves to lying.

[Miki's fist is like a rock, and is far from easily crushable. Miki thrusts her body forward and upwards, launching her head towards Gil's face.]

[ Miki used Headbutt!

It was super effective!

Gil stumbles back a tiny bit before raising a fist to the woman again, this time nearly screaming. ]

GET THE HELL OUT, VILE WOMAN!

[Miki lands and looks up at Gil. It takes her a second to recover from the head to head blow but when she does she look up at Gil with the face of a demon, all teeth and crazily wide-eyed. His threat washed over her like water off a freshly waxed car as she begins to laugh in an almost haunting manner. It's been a while since she's been able to fight, oh yes, she hasn't done it since coming to Prospero, at lease, not against a real human, but now the fire is alight, and it's not gonna go out so easily. She howls her battle cry wildly as she lunges towards the staggered Gil, attempting to tackle him full force in the stomach.]

STRIKE OF THE TIGER!

[ Wait, what?

Yeah, now Gil will kind of be caught off guard, suddenly being tackled to the floor after that.

Utter confusion. ]

I tell you to get out, and now you're attempting to procreate with me? You're an odd women.

I'm gonna procreate some holes in your face!

[Probably not the smoothest use of that work but it works well enough for Miki's purposes. Now sitting on top of Gil, she punches down towards his jaw.]

[ He should really realize what's happening by now, but it won't be until after the first hit that he attempts to kick her off. ]

Damn it, woman. Do you want me to kill you or something?

[Miki grabs onto Gil's shirt tightly with one hand as he kicks and squirms under him. She continues to wail on his face with the other, though with somewhat less impact from her now less stable position.]

The only time I'll die is so I can follow you to hell and kill you there!

[ Seriously, he would be laughing at her attempts if it wasn't for that constantly reopening cut on his face. ALL THE PAIN AND RAGE will cause him to flip his shit and send a knee right into her stomach. ]

Are you stupid or something!? You can't even DIE on this damned island. Not to mention I AM A JUDGE OF HELL.
