Chapter 01 ~ Action/Video
[Action; city streets]
[Today, a certain man sporting golden hair can be seen wandering around the streets of Prospero. He may enter as many buildings as he leaves, but he never stays in one area for too long. He seems to be in search of something, or perhaps someone? Your various attempts to catch his attention seem to fail, unless of course, you actually bump into him. You'll get two red eyes staring at your person before he gives a simple laugh and walks off to his next destination. Do you continue to follow him, or...?]
[The video feed switches on, and the first thing you may notice is that the room is... very over the top. So many fancy looking decorations and furniture that you'll wonder just how somebody could even set it all up, much less afford it all on their first day. That's a mystery that will have to be solved another day. Gilgamesh then turns the camera back towards himself, showing that awfully charming grin of his that some people may already be familiar with.]
So, tell me. How many of you mongrels are familiar with the story of the great King Gilgamesh and his loyal brother Enkidu?

So, tell me. How many of you mongrels are familiar with the story of the great King Gilgamesh and his loyal brother Enkidu?

[The joys of surfing the Internet a lot during his life.]
Somehow, I'm not surprised. Humans never were very good at upholding traditions, much less continuing to tell the most important tale of the first real hero of history.

Nicer? You're asking me to be nicer? Do you have any idea who I am? If it wasn't for me, you wouldn't be standing here today. I'd say that makes me pretty 'nice'.
Oh yeah? Care to explain why?
Are you familiar with the history of Mesopotamia? ...No, no. Of course not. I wouldn't expect someone like you to know much about the origins of mankind.
There was a goddess who often sought after men, but every man she had ever been with died in mysterious ways. Of course, it only makes sense that someone like her would want a young and prosperous King such as myself. But knowing all about her, I rejected her. She got whiny and got another god to send down the Bull of Heaven to destroy my beautiful city of Uruk. So my brother Enkidu and I went out to kill him, thus saving all of my loyal mongrels and cementing my place as the first hero of history and the King of Heroes.
[And now he'll wait for her reaction with an all too smug grin on his face.]
Satisfied?

Yes, really.][Because he's just minding his own business walking out of the nearest building. Well, minding his own business until he catches sight of you.]
...You're...Archer?! When did you get here?
[action]
Well, isn't this just fantastic? Another person from those wars is stuck here with me. And who might you be?
[Because that's totally an amazing disguise okay.
and totally don't know if they even met in Zero herp derp.][action]
...sob neither can i so whoop winging it now. /nao needs to canon review]...Servant Lancer. [He reached up and took the glasses off, gold eyes fixed on Gilgamesh.] You are Archer, correct?
Re: [action]
So does Ryan. HURRY UP ZERO ANIMU.]Lancer. I see. Does that mean this is some sort of reunion for the participants of the fourth war? I was Archer. [One would expect this to be said almost bitterly, but he seems perfectly okay with it?] Whoever summoned me here is obviously a failure of a magus, seeing as how I'm stuck inside a human body and have no access to any of my Phantasms.

As for your question, no, I'm not familiar with the story.

[It's one or the other, bro. Which would you pick in his position?]
That truly is a shame, but seeing as I have nothing better to do tonight.
[HOURS OF THE EPIC RETELLING OF THE EPIC OF GILGAMESH COMPLETE WITH THINGS HE TOTALLY JUST MADE UP ON THE SPUR OF THE MOMENT BECAUSE OF HIS EGO. It's so huge.]
And THAT is the story of Gilgamesh and Enkidu.
[Third option, bro, third option.
DUDE DID YOU JUST USED UP HIS TIME BY TELLING US THE EPIC.]
That's certainly impressive. But what brought this subject up?
Re: [Video]
[Simple and blunt. That's always been his style.]
And what king doesn't like gloating about his own story? I figure it's the perfect way to introduce myself into this new place.
[Yes, he's actually implying that he is Gilgamesh. What do?]

...Saber.
[creeeeeeeeeep]
Archer. [ A scowl greets him in return as her chin is lifted, eyebrows narrowing. ] You have come to join us in this realm?

Not by choice, of course. But knowing that you're here certainly makes this pitiful state of existence much more tolerable. This could only be a work of fate. Surely, you understand what this means, right?
[Ah, and there was that smile. The same smile he knew would make her feel so very uncomfortable as it did all those years before.]

Still.. a tale of brotherhood might be worth telling. By all means, enlighten me.
[Of course, Gilgamesh is going to leave out certain parts because he doesn't want to make himself sound as terrible as he was back then.]
Gilgamesh was the mighty king of Uruk, as handsome as he was strong. The gods started to become jealous of the king, seeing as how he was quickly become more celebrated than they were, so they sent down a wild man, Enkidu. They expected Enkidu to easily kill off the king, but he wasn't a fool by any means. He sent a priestess to tame the wild man with her spells, and even let him become a citizen of his city. And then one night, their paths crossed. For no reason, they began fighting. It was one of the most brutal hand-to-hand fights Gilgamesh had ever had, and yet... neither was the victor. It ended in a draw, and a new-found friendship. Gilgamesh had finally found a man worthy enough to be his equal, and from that day on they did everything one would expect of brothers. They would fight together and encourage the other should they have any fears. They took down Humbaba, the ogre-guardian of the Cedar Forest, who had slayed many men who attempted to chop down any trees to build with. They also killed Gugalanna, the "Bull of Heaven", who was also sent down by the gods in a fit of rage. Sadly, the gods saw fit to punish Gilgamesh and cursed Enkidu with a sickness after that. His best friend, his brother, had been taken away from him by the gods, and for the first time, Gilgamesh realized just how fragile life was. After a failed attempt to retrieve some sort of immortality elixir, he returned to his city and continued to rule until his death. There was never a day that he would forget his brother, and even after death kept the memories of his brother alive by naming one of his weapons after him. A chain that was capable of binding all 'divine' creatures, easily enabling Gilgamesh to slaughter them for the good of his people.
[A brief pause, and then a sigh.]
So, what do you think?
