♚ it began in the 12th century
☙VIDEO;
[ Gender-flipped King Arthur and technology don't really mesh too well together, seeing as it's been kicked on by accident again. This time she has her legs curled up on the couch, a tiny lion cub nestled around her battle gown and limbs. A hand idly scratches behind it's ears and the other side of her body? Resting alongside the man sitting next to her. It takes him a moment, but it seems as though he's struggling to figure out how to work a remote control.
Suddenly there's very loud noise. The phone's angled enough to get a good look at the television - are those credits vaguely familiar? ]
I was told this was the most accurate portrayal by the man who sold it to me, Lancer. [ Calmly spoken. ]OOC: Both
caliburns and
croibhristeoir will be replying to every commenter in their own threads. YAY JOINT POSTS.
Feel free to comment after any point in the thread holding their commentary as well for max lulz.

Was it common to attempt to rid oneself of living relatives when the area was overcome with plague? I suspect not, but I may as well ask.

... Ah, they murdered him. I do not think I can support such behavior.

... did they just say he, er myself, er he.. regardless! Did they just claim he must be a king because of the lack of feces on his person?

. . . yes, that seems to be exactly their reasoning.

[Hold that thought. because it's that scene.
You know. That Scene.]

And just between the two of us, the lady in the lake does have some sway over who should be king. Not that I acquired Caliburn in such a way.
[ Wait a second... that scene. ]
What a poor battle. Although I do like the use of a flail. It has been ages since I have used such a weapon.

I didn't see flails used too often, myself. Many of the Fianna favored swords and lances, with the occasional axe as well.
[Oh, fighting with one arm. That may be the most logical thing Lancer's seen so far.]
