[There are a few unsure button mashes before Alice gets the video feed to come on. She looks into it with curious eyes, even if her gaze is filled with anger at the same time.]

Okay, which one of you kidnapped me and took my dolls? I got the little note thing about 'shadows', whatever those are, but I don't really get it.

Really, I just want my dolls back. And my books. If I've got those, then I can keep working. If not, then I'm kind of stuck, and I don't want to be stuck. Tch.

[It was after school when Atsuro have enough time for the video recording. He’s been going over his information about the Shadows, what they know about them and what they found out last month.

He also have been resting up from the ordeal, which put off his usual work into the database.]

Afternoon, everyone! Atsuro here with the usual update about the Shadows. [Here be the database update. New people will just get a copy of the latest version.] For new people who haven’t got it before, it show all the Shadows we know around the city so far and their resistances.

As always, I recommend going out with a partner or a group, since some Shadows might be immune to your attacks or spells. The most annoying ones are those immune to physical attacks. [VISCERAL MAYA HE’S LOOKING AT YOU.]

And also, if anyone got any new information about the Shadows, please let me know. [He frowns, looking serious for the moment.] Especially after what happened last month, for those who was there to experience it.

[Pause.] With our Shadows, it brings up questions about the other Shadows wondering around. Our Shadows are a part of us, even if we keep them hidden from others. So what does that mean for the…less sentient Shadows? As they can affect people’s mind...maybe they’re born from people, just not as...collected together like our Shadows. Just fragments of the human mind, if you get what I’m saying?

I’m still brainstorming, which is kinda why I’m busy in getting this update out. So if you have any ideas, I’d appreciate hearing them.

[Today is April's birthday, and while April has never even really celebrated her birthday before, she thought that after that whole 'fighting with your doubles and face your issues' thing, it would be nice to have a bit of fun. So, she decides to buy one new dress for herself (since it's thick enough to protect against the cold), and also decides to buy this thing called a 'kite'. It had caught her eye when she was walking past the store and after asking the store owner about it, it sounded like it could be fun.

So, she's found a large-ish open area in the park and is now trying to fly the kite. 'Try' being the keyword here since she manages to keep it in the air for a while before it crashes into a nearby tree... o-or into anybody nearby. So if you're in the park today and see a kite crash land into a tree or get whacked in the back of the head by a kite, the sheepish looking redhead is the reason behind it.]

[ Enjoy the sight of what appears to be the tongue of a feline licking at the lens with the start of this call. After a few laps, it'll be discarded on the floor to show a hotel room with a few boxes scattered around. Boxes of green and red, containers of ornaments and the sort. A lion cub pounces on one of them in the distance (presumably the one who was gnawing on the phone earlier), earning the attention of it's master.

It's master who was knelt before a tree barely over two feet tall with an ornament in hand. Glancing lazily towards the cub, she has a distant look in her eyes. A solemn appearance as always, Saber moved to hook the tiny figure on a barren branch. Letting her hands fall to her side, her gaze focuses on the tree as she refuses to move. Seemingly lost in her thoughts, she remains solitary until the video feed times out. ]

[ A couple hours after midnight, Saber will use her phone once more. ]

Is it acceptable to give a gift to someone with whom you may not be on good terms with? The concept of this holiday is not entirely lost on me. However, I do not wish to offend. Any advice would be appreciated.

[ Abel sits on top of his bed, legs tucked beneath him. It'd look meditative, if he wasn't surrounded by candy wrappers and a half-sewn lion plushie. ] I'm having trouble fighting a certain type of...Shadow. Visceral Mara, I think it's their name. [ Or so says this dossier. ]

...I need a partner to fight these things. I promise I won't slow you down. [ Abel trusts he doesn't look like someone who can't fight. ] I've been doing well against the Shadows that aren't immune to physical attacks.

I'd...appreciate any sort of help. [ He grabs at the phone, blocking the camera's view with a scarred, blurry palm, until he mutters something in French. ]

I almost forgot. [ His tone shifts into steely seriousness. ] ...there's a woman Juri Han who arrived not too long ago. Please, try to avoid her, and if you can, don't fight her. She's... [ A pause. ] ...not your typical fighter.
