[The video feed blips on after a few moments and Chichiri can be seen staring at the screen. He seems- rather confused, actually. The camera turns this way and that as he peers at the device.]

What on Earth is this na no da...?

[The feed flips over to point at the grass- and then other random scenery. Someone'll probably have to explain what this is to him, otherwise you'll be getting random film of the sky, trees, grass, and occasionally a very bewildered Chichiri.]

... the grass is in the ... box? What kind of magic box is this na no da?

[There's a grinning Alice on the screen—she looks very happy because of all this family business since she's never had anyone besides Alice that was even remotely like family in a long time.]

Hey! Big brothers, mommy! Alice's real happy we're all together here so Alice wants to play! Especially with my daughter miss Ingrid! Alice didn't know Alice had a daughter...Alice doesn't know when that happened, but Alice's glad it's miss Ingrid.

...I dunno one of my big brothers, though, so It'll be good to meet him, too. Alice will be waiting at the park for everybody to come and have fun, so don't be late, 'kay?

((ooc: Sooo sorry this is so late, I was too busy to really tag in on the family event much last week!!))

[ACTION / SOMEWHAT-ACCIDENTAL-VIDEO]

[Ladies and Gentlemen!

This is Assassin, the Japanese one.

This is Assassin, not giving a single fuck about the recent religion post.

This is Assassin, not so jobless.

This is Assassin, working as a part-timer just because he's bored as hell.

This is Assassin, driving a pedobear sushi truck.

This is Assassin, in every red lights and every stops possible, accelerates through like a boss. watch your step Lancer, you might die from a random and sudden ramming due to a relatively low luck. ts;dr, 'Mad Driver' is the word you're looking for.

This play whenever he's in your sight, buddy. Louder, of course. Bonus point if you're actually interested in buying sushis, cue instant braking. WORRY NOT GUYS, KOJIRO GOT ALL OF THIS UNDER HIS CONTROL!! ...Except for the unpredictable accident, obviously.

Now where's my temple gate?]

*Allen has dark circles under his eyes, like he's barely slept at all recently. But that's not the point of this post. In fact, aside from the dark circles, he looks wide awake and serious.*

I've been doing some research on the Churches of Three since that news broadcast. This probably won't surprise too many people, but it does make my suspicions seem more likely...there's nothing in any publicly accessible records about anything by that name. No founder, no precepts, nothing. As far as I can tell, it didn't even exist until this past week.

*He pauses to take a sip from a cup of coffee. You don't want to know how many he's had.*

Considering the fact that the name of the hotel owner fits the obvious theme of the church, it should be pretty obvious that they're related. Trey Matre...I've been told it roughly translates to Three Mothers. I came up with a lot of references to three in religion, just like Issei said, but it's too clear cut to be a coincidence. Either this is just now coming to be an organized religion, or something like it has existed behind the scenes for a while and now it's finally coming partly into the light.

The fact that it's already infiltrated the government means that we're probably not dealing with something small and new. I wouldn't be surprised if the hotel wasn't the only business they had a connection to here, either. Ryuunosuke's already offered to infiltrate the church if it comes here, but I think we also need people to investigate the local government and major businesses on the island. In the meantime, I'd suggest being careful how freely you talk about what's going on. We don't know who's involved, after all.

But that doesn't mean we shouldn't communicate. I'm going to be putting together a list of people who are doing investigations, so if you're looking into anything and you want the names of people you can trade information with, let me know. The list won't be public, just in case, but unless anyone objects, I'll give it to anyone who wants to help and won't turn around and broadcast it to everybody.

Ah, and in case anyone was wondering, my name's Allen Ridgeley.

['Sup. Hakuno stares blankly at the screen, standing in the middle of what seems to be a kitchen. She stands out more than usual due to her wearing a fitting red cheongsam and a white frilly apron. Her hair is also styled into a pair of buns at the sides of her head. Guess who got a job at a local Chinese dim sum restaurant? After a few more seconds of uncomfortable staring, she breathes in and finally begins to speak:]

... Saint Valentine's Day. Shortened to Valentine's Day, it's a holiday on the fourteenth of February to celebrate love and affection between companions. This is expressed by giving romantic gifts like flowers, sweets, written poems and such. In Japan, where I assume I'm from, it's customary for girls to give chocolates to boys they like. The more they like the boy, the better quality the chocolate. However, it's best to give chocolate that's handmade because of the sentimental value. Since we're in America, though, don't worry about it too much.

And for those who are wondering about the holiday's name, it's named after the legend of Valentinus, who was beaten then beheaded for assisting couples of a persecuted religion to marry during the age of the Roman Empire long ago. I'm guessing the marrying thing is why we celebrate love.

[Phew. That was a lot to say. Which means... another moderate period of silence before Hakuno speaks again.]

... Anyway, there are a lot of couples here. So I'll show you all how to make a few easy kinds of chocolate truffles since I'm done with work. First, I'll start with a basic recipe for ganache, then coating. After, I'll show you some ways to decorate the chocolates.

[Even though she doesn't remember her past at all, for some reason she remembers how to cook. She sets her phone down onto the kitchen counter to show the necessary ingredients and equipment needed already laid out:]

For ganache, you'll need 200 grams of chocolate, one tablespoon of melted butter, 60 milliliters of heavy cream...

[... the rest of the video goes on as she carefully shows, step by step, how to make chocolate truffles for Valentine's Day. Much like this video, minus the Engrish thanks to translator microbes and minus expressiveness. Minus that very weird ending of the video too.]

... as you can see, this recipe is very variable, so there's a lot of room for creativity. I'll be at the high school's Home Ec Room after school tomorrow, so if you'd like to make Valentine's Day sweets in groups, be my guest.

Okay, so, this is...

[Well, whatever this is, it's coming from someone clearly not familiar with the concept of cell phones; his voice quiets for approximately two seconds - just long enough to mutter a soft, disgruntled "This feels so stupid..." before he continues on at the same volume he had been speaking at before.

"The same volume" being one that implies he's holding the phone about a foot from his face and yelling into it.]

Yeah, so I'm out of flagpoles to run things up and no one's saluting anyway, so I thought I'd give this...radio thing a try. This is Lieutenant Colonel Kimbley of the Amestrian military - I guess I can appreciate your medical support, but this whole situation here stopped being okay as soon as this place stopped being Liore. If you want to tell me who you are or why you brought me here, that'd be great - otherwise there's going to be some problems, like your little city going up in flames.

[More fidgeting with the phone; awkward awkward awkward, I think I'm a hostage and what's this.]

Anyway. Right. Answers would be good. You have half an hour to return the damn transmission - I'd suggest you start with the answers before I start with the fireworks, this place looks like it'll go up real easy.

[Lion's been fidgeting with this...phone thing for a while now, and finally manages to broadcast his voice—he hasn't figured out the video feature yet because hey he's from the 80's okay and technology.]

Hello? Can anyone hear me? Will...?

What…exactly is this? I’m afraid I don’t quite understand it…I don’t recognize where I am, at all. This definitely isn’t an uncharted area of Rokkenjima, and I know there are several places that I‘m unaware of in the forest… But, no…

I’m certain this is a completely different place altogether, it's far too huge. The climate is so much different, and…this place is actually quite a bit more remarkable than my island.

Besides, I doubt an entire city could fit on my home island. The thought alone is bizarre.

[He puts a hand over his mouth in thought, looking pensive and a bit troubled.]

More importantly, I believe leaving the church should have been impossible. It was...well, I can't quite explain why. Not even I understand it... In any case, I must return there as soon as possible. Someone, anyone, please tell me where exactly I am so that I can make the necessary arrangements to get back to my family.
